Esteban Espinosa (Ricardo Darín) is an honest man, though reserved and grumpy. He works as a taxidermist and spends his time in his isolated workshop giving lifeless objects the appearance of life. Behind his cold exterior, however, burns a hidden desire and a peculiar obsession: in recent years, he has constantly imagined and planned perfect and brilliant heists, the results of an intelligence he believes sets him apart from others. The outside world, full of clashes between “fools against fools,” police, and thieves, does not affect him in the slightest.
