Benjamín Espósito, a recently retired investigative court official in Buenos Aires, remains obsessed with a brutal murder that took place twenty-five years earlier, in 1974. He decides to write a novel about the case—a crime he both witnessed and was involved in. As he delves into the past, not only do the details of the unsolved case resurface, but also memories of a woman he has quietly loved all these years. The search for truth thus becomes a journey into his own inner world, navigating justice, guilt, and a love that has never faded.
