Téllez is a stern and prestigious film critic, tired of romantic comedies and convinced that the best of cinema is dead. Perhaps because of his profession, he views the world as one big movie he can’t help but critique. While searching for a new apartment, he unexpectedly meets Sofía, an attractive woman who has little to do with his refined taste. Chance places them in strangely idyllic situations. Téllez tries to escape a scenario he despises, yet he begins to suspect that the very genre he loathes is taking its revenge.
