Buenos Aires serves as the backdrop for this story. Mariana and Martín lead similar lives. Similar loneliness, similar frustrations, even living on the same street. Yet, they cannot meet. What connects them is also what separates them: their houses and the shared wall between them: medianeras. The film explores how close people can be without knowing each other and how physical and symbolic barriers shape our lives and relationships.
