Rubén is a lonely truck driver who has been transporting timber from Asunción, Paraguay, to Buenos Aires for years. But today’s journey will be different. One morning, at a rest stop near Asunción, Jacinta shows up an hour later to join him on the trip to Buenos Aires. To Rubén’s surprise, they are also accompanied by little Anahí, a five-month-old baby. It’s not the easiest start, but with every mile, a bond begins to form between Rubén and Jacinta. Both speak little about their lives and want even less—what unfolds is a journey with few words, yet far from silent.
