A Common Crime

Cecilia is a sociology professor who lives alone with her young son. On a rainy night, Kevin, the teenage son of her housekeeper, persistently knocks on the door. She is too scared to let Kevin in and the next day, the boy's body is found in a river. The neighbourhood accuses the police of having murdered the teenager and social unrest shakes the poorest part of the city. Tormented by her guilty conscience, Cecilia begins to be haunted by the ghost of the young boy.
